10000m Week
I managed to do my 10km week. Wasn't fun. I was seriously thinking about packing it in... trying to do a relay. But the last Swim I did a 2 hr - the 2nd hour.. things suddenly came right and I felt good. I will keep splashing on.

Wake up call.
I chatted this evening to Stephen - he swam the channel last year. He did it in 21 hours. He recons I should be doing at least 10000m a week. He was doing a 1 hour open water swim every 2nd day in January!
I need to significantly pick up my pace and volume.
As he approached France - he could see the bottom of the ocean and it still took him another 3 hours to reach shore.
Feeding - he did with 3 bottles: 1 for a banana; 1 for juice (with warm water - he always drank warm drinks) and the last one for energy gels.
Crikey! Need to get into the pool more!
